Product Information
TJC Lube 60% is manufactured from metallic zinc as specified in API 5A3/ISO 13678:2009 blended in a high quality petroleum base composition. TJC Lube 60% prevents thread damage and will not squeeze out under high loads or pressure. It is approved for use by tool joint manufacturers, and conforms to recommendations of IADC and API. The premium petroleum base composition contains anti-galling agents to produce a compound which is highly adhesive, water proof and brushable over a wide range of temperatures. It also contains a premium inhibitor package to prevent rust and corrosion during storage.
TJC Lube 60% is recommended for use on all drill stem elements, including tool joints and drill collars. TJC Lube 60% has been tested by API methods and has a friction factor of 1.0. This product is available in weight of 5 gal - 50 lbs. and 55 gal - 500 lbs.
